The Google Browser - Fact or Fiction?
Last year, both Google and the Mozilla Foundation 'denied'
rumours of a browser being developed in conjunction with the two
companies. However, past and present news would suggest
otherwise. Is Google really in the process of creating a new Web
Browser? Time to weigh up the evidence...
Speculation towards the Google browser's production

Speed up your Broswer
If you follow the following steps you can speed up your internet
connection.I know it will speed up both the Mozilla FoxFire, and
Netscape Navagator. However it doesn't work in Internet
Explorer. If you use any other browser, just try the first step,
if it opens up the most likely it will work, if nothing opens,
then it doesnt work
1.Type in the address bar"about:config" and hit return. Scroll
down and look for the following entries:

Is Your Web Browser Putting You At Risk?
It's free, it comes with Windows and it's used by approximately
94% of the Internet population. It also poses an unacceptable
security risk. What am I talking about? If you guessed Internet
Explorer, you're right on the money. So, is your web browser
putting you at risk? If you're one of the 94% using Internet
Explorer, the answer is a definite *yes*. By my math, quite a
few people require critical information for protection.
What's the problem with Internet Explorer (known as "IE" from

Firefox - the future of browsing
A lot of the work I do at AntBiz Consulting
involves wandering around the web in search for new ideas for
web promotion and web design.
I accidentally went today to this website: www.SpreadFirefox.com
Yes, I did get there by accident (seen a button on one of Mishoo's sites - my best
friend) and wanted to know what it is about. I cannot believe
the community that has been created since the first time I used
Firefox :)
I use FireFox (Thanks to Mishoo, either) since it was at version
0.8 and I ...

The Opera alternative
By Jakob Jelling http://www.sitetube.com
Security flaws have long plagued Internet Explorer (IE), the
market-dominating web browser from Microsoft. IE won the early
browser wars, not only because it was free and bundled with
Windows, but because it had some features and capabilities that
its only real competitor, Netscape, didn't have. But the
behind-the-scenes programming that makes those features possible
is the very coding that also leaves wide gaps in IE's defenses
against viruses and ...

Yahoo! and Earthlink
Yahoo! learned a painful lesson from the slump it experienced up
until this year ' that relying on Internet advertising is great
when companies are willing to pay for advertising but not when
those companies don't have the money to spare for Internet
advertising campaigns! It's recent ventures into 'paid for'
services is likely to be complemented by continuing ventures
into subscription-based services, perhaps involving Earthlink.
Terry Semel took the reigns of Yahoo! just in time to ...

Pop-ups And Pop-up Blockers
Pop-ups, you all know what these little annoying things are. You
go to a website and a window, or two or three, pop-up on your
screen. Before you can do anything on the site you have to close
them down. But like Tribbles in Star Trek, you get rid of one
and three take its place. People hate Pop-ups, and I mean REALLY
hate them.
So do you think it's a good idea to have something on your site
that people hate? I can guarantee that they not only hate the
pop-ups, but almost instantly hate your ...

Fine-tune Web Research with Toolbars
Toolbar - what is it?
In most cases, a toolbar is like a main menu-bar residing
alongside in popular browsers, usually Microsoft's Internet
Explorer. The toolbar is termed so because while surfing the
net, it provides a viewer many options that aim at bringing
focus to and fine-tune browsing. Toolbars of various hues are
available free of cost, including one from Google, though
there're some like Internet Research Toolbar, who offer toolbars
at a cost.
Does toolbar help?

Software localization is, in essence, making versions of
software products available, which can operate in multiple
languages. In this article we examine what's involved in
developing such software. And it's not as difficult as you might

If you develop software to sell, then perhaps there might be
market beyond the shores of the USA. Have you considered making
multiple language versions of your software available? Perhaps
you've given it a fleeting thought but dismissed the idea as ...

Google Desktop Search Software can't find your lost keys or tell

Spyware is becoming more and more of a problem. When I visit a

unaware of spyware, but hopefully now that the word is spreading
that people will be more aware of the problem and setup a good
defense. I get a get calls or questions to the effect of "Why is

Explore the Internet in a Whole New Way
For a long time now Microsoft's Internet Explorer has ruled as
'King of Internet browsers'. Like many of Microsoft's products
an initially brutal marketing campaign pushed Internet Explorer
into the mainstream's consciousness and from then on it was the
logical, default choice. It's free with the operating system,
works well, loads any page and is easy to use. Other web
browsers soon faded into obscurity and sometimes even died in
the shadow of the new king of the pack. Netscape Navigator, ...

introduction of the Mac Mini, which measures 6.5' square and 2'

high-speed Internet Service Providers (ISPs) or add-on services
vendors think you may need.

SVG and Flash as the same species

contenders. These are the Macromedia's Shock Wave Flash (SWF)

Adobe's SVG browser plug-in has achieved barely around 10%
penetration, compared to Macromedia's 90% for the Flash plug-in.
Flash has already established an outstanding standard
